Both have now released the film Atrangi Re on Disney Plus Hotstar. The trailer of this film has got a lot of likes. But this trailer has been cut so clearly that the real problem of the film is nowhere to be seen.

The story begins when Rinku (Sara Ali Khan) runs away from her home in Siwan, Bihar, and is followed by her relatives. He reaches the station in this van. Meanwhile, S Venkatesh Vishwanath Iyer aka Bishu Babu (Dhanush) gets off the train with friends. There he saw Rinku throwing bottles at him. When he returned home, Rinku's grandmother (Seema Biswas) slapped him. According to Rinku, she has run away with her boyfriend many times before. She falls in love with the magician Sajjad Ali (Akshay Kumar). 

Nani is deeply saddened by the actions of orphan Rinku. She asks Rinku to get married in two days. In Bihar, Rinku was kidnapped and forcibly married off to Bishu Babu as part of the traditional pakoda marriage. Bishu, who is studying medicine in Delhi, wants to spend a week. Rinku reaches Delhi and goes to meet her boyfriend. She asks him to go with her. She also goes to her engagement with Bishu and dances loudly. There are many twists in this love story of Rinku. This may surprise some people about aspects of Sarah's life.

After the release of Zero in 2018, Atrangi Re was directed by Aanand L Rai. Himanshu and Anand L. in Atrangi Re. Rai failed to do justice to any issue while trying to hide issues like marriage, inter-caste marriage. Honor killing, mental illness. The writer didn't even bother to rationalize the film. Himanshu's medical world needs intensive research. There is a lot of drama in the film. But the wave of emotions is nowhere to be seen. The matter of Bishu and his girlfriend has been resolved amicably. 

The method by which Rinku is diagnosed with mental health problems is dyspepsia. In a scene in the film, Bishu expresses his feelings about Rinku in Tamil. The recently released Hollywood film West Side Story did not have Spanish subtitles. Director Steven Spielberg wanted the audience to understand those feelings. A similar experiment has been done by Aanand L Rai in Atrangi Re.

There is no subtitle in a scene when Bishu describes his pain in Tamil. She is bitter. You can tell by watching the visuals that knowing the correct dialogue is important to an audience unfamiliar with the language. However, Sara has worked hard to develop Rinku's personality. The specialty of the film is the performance of Dhanush. 

He is perfect for the character. He has enthusiastically imbibed Bishu's simplicity, innocence, boredom, and duality. Despite the bad script, he keeps her in his acting. Although the integral part of the story, Akshay Kumar's film has a limited scope. Ashish Verma, despite not being a friend of the hero, has to find a strong character for himself. The rest of the best songs in the film are Karan Priya.
